CUHK X Jockey Club X TURNED-E!
The Outreach Teacher Workshop in June has been successfully completed.
This time, "TURNED-E!" was invited to participate in the workshop. As the only speaker, among the three, who combined microelectronics and artificial intelligence in applications, we shared the history, importance, and future development of microelectronics with the over 20 participating teachers. Subsequently, Mr. James Lam and Vincent Wong from "TURNED-E!" also shared information on how to promote microelectronics education in primary and secondary schools.
The content of the workshop was timely, as it echoed the recent announcement in the Financial Secretary's Budget, which mentioned the plan to establish a microelectronics research and development institute to capitalize on Hong Kong's strengths as an international innovation and technology center. This workshop has allowed the teachers to gain a deeper understanding of the microelectronics industry and its development. It will help promote the development of microelectronics education in primary and secondary schools and inject more innovative and technological elements into Hong Kong.
